Easy Drink Recipes Alcoholic

Easy Drink Recipes Alcoholic

Do you like having friends over for dinner? It’s one of my favorite things to do! The house gets clean, I get to show off a little with some of my favorite recipes, and it’s always fun to get to know our friends a little better. I have a list of tried and true recipes that I love to make for company (my current favorites are these carnitas tacos and this homemade pizza), and usually our friends volunteer to bring over a side dish or dessert to share. There’s something really wonderful about sharing a meal with friends!

One thing I always seem to forget when I’m planning our dinner menu is a fun drink to share! I’m a bit of a Diet Dr. Pepper addict myself, but I think it’s fun to have some other options available for people who don’t love DDP as much as I do. 🙂 We usually have sparkling water on hand, with some different flavored syrups to add in, and we also love plain ice water with fresh lemon wedges. For special occasions and holidays, this simple holiday punch is our favorite! It has such a flavorful combination of orange, cranberry, and pineapple, and it’s a favorite with both kids and adults!

Apple

I’m obviously not reinventing the wheel with this punch recipe, but it’s a classic for a reason. The combination of fruit juices is totally delicious! I love that it’s so festive and fresh tasting, with the perfect balance of tart and sweet. I like to add ginger ale for a little extra flavor, but you can use lemon lime soda if you prefer. It’s delicious either way! If you’re preparing this punch in advance, I would suggest mixing the fruit juices and refrigerating, but waiting to add the ginger ale until just before serving. The fizziness is definitely the best part! You can easily scale this recipe up or down depending on the size of the crowd you’re serving. This punch is the perfect holiday drink! These 16 Easy and Fruity Alcoholic Drinks are perfect for any occasion. Whether they’re made with fresh berries, citrus, or rhubarb, this gorgeous collection of fruity cocktails offers something for everyone, all year-round!

Cocktail Recipes: 25+ Easy Halloween Cocktails For A Perfectly Boo Zy Evening

It’s not every day that I’ll post an “adult” beverage on Gonna Want Seconds. But this Hippie Juice recipe is so good, I couldn’t help but share. It works well at a  party, sipping poolside or just because. This drink has a lot going for it. It’s light, fruity, and easy to mix up in a hurry – no blender required! Hippie Juice is the perfect summer drink, but, of course, you can drink it year-round. I won’t tell.

This drink was originally meant to be assembled in a half-gallon juice container, which means it’s totally portable. By portable, I mean you can carry your unopened alcohol bottles to the neighborhood barbecue. Once you’re at your final destination, just add the ingredients to your juice container, give it a good shake and it’s ready to serve.

Easy

Not only will you have no need for a blender, but you also won’t even have a need for a mixing spoon!

Easy Cocktail Recipes For 2023

This recipe produces a healthy quantity of hippie juice. And hey, with a larger quantity, you can share it with more people! I like to mix it in a larger container, like a gallon water jug. Once it’s mixed, serve your Hippie Juice straight from the container.

If by chance, you have any leftovers, you can easily store them in the freezer. I’m thinking leftovers are unlikely, just sayin’…

So why is it called Hippie Juice? There are a couple of possibilities. The first is because it’s said this recipe was first perfected at a summer music festival in the early 2000s. If you’ve ever been to a music festival, you know that they have a unique atmosphere. Picture tents, bonfires, and drum circles.

Fruity Vodka Party Punch

The second possible reason that this drink is called Hippie Juice is somewhat related to that. The portability of the drink puts it in a class of its own. You can lead a hippie lifestyle, selling seashells in the back of your van, and still have everything you need to make a pitcher of Hippie Juice.

The final theory is kind of a funny one. It’s been said that this recipe is called Hippie Juice because hippies are notorious for using whatever they find. And, in a way, this drink is a nice little mix of just about everything. From watermelon vodka to actual raspberries, Hippie Juice is quite eclectic.

Fruity

No matter how the drink got its name, though, it’s absolutely delicious. Let’s face it, people have always come up with fascinating ways to make alcohol go down smoothly.
