Caramel Marshmallow Popcorn Balls

Now I am just going to be honest here. Some people swear by doing this the old fashioned way, which is absolutely fine. I have popped my own corn countless times.

If you are going the microwave route, I would absolutely advise you to use a plain or lightly salted popcorn. You can find my favorite here.

Now that the caramel is melted, and the popcorn is ready, it’s time to pour. Next, pick your chin up and wipe off the drool.

These things are absolutely amazing. You can do everything with them! I love using them for baking, and they are also fantastic for making candies and chocolate designs.

Now spread the caramel popcorn goodness onto the baking sheet. This will help the mixture cool just enough, to be able to handle it, to form the popcorn balls.

This will prevent the caramel from sticking to your hands, and it also adds some extra buttery goodness to the caramel popcorn balls as well!

Caramel Corn Balls

These are best when wrapped individually in plastic wrap or bagged in individual treat bags. You can store them together in an airtight container; however, they may stick to each other a little bit.

If your popcorn balls aren't sticking together, it's likely because you have too much popcorn. Be sure to measure the popped popcorn so you don't accidentally use too much.

Sogginess is caused by way too much caramel. Once again, be sure to measure the popped popcorn so you don't have too much or too little. However, this issue is easier to fix than having too much popcorn. If you feel you need more popcorn, just pop a little more popcorn and mix it in. 1-2 cups of additional popped corn should do it.
