When summer fruit is at its best our family will pick, process, store and freeze several containers of strawberries and peaches in pint and quart plastic see-thru containers. We pick all of our strawberries at Lutz’s Farms at their u-pick patch.
We have frozen whole strawberries and place them in gallon zip lock bags, which work well if you plan on using them within a month or two.Our family likes smoothies all year long so I choose the clean, smooch, store and freeze method.
This recipe is great with substituting different ingredients.Try a tropical smoothie or just a strawberry smoothie! The secret is to have your fruit frozen. All of the fruit is frozen!

Add more or less milk to achieve your desired thickness. This recipe does not have ice added to it that would water down the smoothie.Another tip that we do when making our smoothies is to add Silk Milk and Silk yogurt because my daughter is sensitive to lactose.
The last tip that I have is to add about 1 tablespoon of strawberry smoothie mix.We like Fresh Success Strawberry Smoothie mix. If you want a healthier version you can omit the mix.

Thank you for taking the time to share your comments!Hello there Simple As That readers. It’s Katie from The Casual Craftlete blog. Last month I shared a tasty Mango Orange Green Smoothie recipe and today I am back with this amazing Strawberry Peach Smoothie. This smoothie recipe is not only pretty pink but it is filled with some of my favorite sweet summertime fruits. It’s incredibility easy to make in my new Blendtec blender!
How To Make Strawberry Peach Smoothie
I absolutely love summer because of all the fresh fruits available. This combination of strawberries and peaches is just perfect. They are so juicy and sweet together. If you have never tried this flavor combo before, I highly recommend it.
I am so in love with my new Blendtec blender! I have had a cheap blender for a long time and have wanting for a Blendtec forever. Let me just tell you it was definitely worth the wait. This blender is a life changer. It blends and purees so fast and the texture is so smooth. It crushes ice like a dream too. After the first time I used my Blendtec I immediately threw my other blender away. I will never turn back. The clean up is so incredibly easy too. You just add 8 oz of water and a drop of dish soap into the blender and pulse for 1o seconds. Just rinse out and boom you’re done.
For this recipe I am using unsweetened almond milk, frozen banana, honey, fresh peaches and strawberries. This is a dairy-free smoothie but you can use your favorite milk of choice. Other great smoothie ingredients are flax seeds, chia seeds, almond butter, protein powder and so much more. I love making smoothies because you can change up the ingredients to create a different tasting smoothie each time. Not to mention smoothies take very little time and prep, making my life so much easier.

As the weather warms up, cool down with a chilled glass of Strawberry Peach Smoothie. A mixture of ripe fruit, yogurt, and citrus juice makes for a quick breakfast or midday snack.
Ripe strawberries have a jammy flavor, that’s sweet with a hint of acidity. When paired with the slightly tart flavor of yellow peaches they are the perfect pairing.

I like to add some Greek yogurt and banana slices, for a creamier texture and extra protein in each serving. The natural sweetness and acidity in the orange juice brightens and balances the taste of the smoothie.

I use frozen strawberries and peaches to create the perfect consistency and you’ll use less ice so you won’t dilute the flavor of the smoothie. They’ve been picked and frozen at their peak ripeness, so they taste just as delicious as fresh fruit in this application.
Ingredient Roasted Strawberry Peach Smoothie
Add the ice and fruit first, so that the blender blades have more time to break them into tiny pieces for a smoother texture. Next add the bananas, yogurt, and orange juice. The liquid will help process the ingredients. Add more liquid as needed to adjust the consistency.
I like to portion individual servings of fruit into resealable zip-top bags. Go ahead and add the sliced bananas to save on time as well. When you’re ready to make your smoothies, just add the frozen items to the blender, along with your yogurt and juice, then blend.
