My family loves a great quiche recipe! They’re pretty much a blank slate, and this sausage quiche is a favorite with plenty of savory sausage and melted cheese.

John has been making a variety of quiche recipes for years, even before we started the blog. One of my favorites is his crustlessSouthwest Quiche.

I’ve never really been the breakfast type of person. Regardless of knowing that it is supposed to be the most important meal of the day I usually just live of of coffee and little sleep.

Once it is cool wrap in plastic wrap and foil and then freeze. Freeze for up to 2 months. When you are ready to make it, let it thaw in the fridge overnight and then bake to reheat it.

To freeze an unbaked quiche assemble just like the recipe says. Instead of baking it right away, carefully put the pie plate in the freezer for it to set up. Once it is frozen, remove and wrap with foil to store it for 1 month before you need to bake it. Thaw in the fridge overnight and then bake according to the recipe.

Spinach And Sausage Quiche

If you are using store bought pie crust, they often come 2 to a package. So you can make one sausage quiche for tonight, and one for the freezer! A great make ahead meal the whole family will love.
