Key Lime Pie (weight Watchers) 3 Pts Per Slice
Note -- I used 2 containers of Chobani yogurt, 5.3 ounces each. If you use a different brand, you may have slightly more or less
Pour the hot water over the gelatin, and whisk the water and Jello for about 2 minutes or until the gelatin is dissolved.
Next, stir in the key lime yogurt, and mix well. Finally, stir the Cool Whip into the Jello mixture until completely blended.
Key Lime Pie Milkshake
Pour the key lime pie filling into the prepared graham cracker crust. Use a spatula to spread the filling evenly in the pie shell.
Place the pie into the refrigerator and allow to chill for 4 hours. If you have time, chilling the pie overnight is even better.
I love to garnish this key lime pie with whipped cream and fresh lime slices. I used regular limes, but actual key limes would be the perfect touch!
Best Ever Key Lime Pie
If you don't want to make homemade whipped cream, add dollops of Cool Whip to the pie slices before serving if you like!
I like to keep this a super easy pie, but if you want you can make your own graham cracker crust instead of using a premade one.
Top your key lime pie with a dollop of Cool Whip or whipped topping. You can even make your own whipped cream with heavy cream, vanilla, and sugar.
Low Sugar Key Lime Pie
If you have fresh key limes, Persian limes, or regular limes, top the pie with lime slices or lime zest. Graham cracker crumbs are a great option too.
You don't actually need Jello for a no-bake pie. Just mix key lime yogurt and Cool Whip. You will need to keep this version of the pie frozen though, because there is no gelatin to keep it thick.
If you can't find key lime yogurt, plain yogurt or any other flavor will work just as well with key lime gelatin. Feel free to get creative with both Jell-O flavors and yogurt flavors here!

With Easter just around the corner, I’ve been thinking about Easter dinner with ham and all the trimmings which is always delicious but the highlight of these family dinners is the dessert. We usually have pie at our holiday meals so I decided to try to make my very first key lime pie.
I am all about finding easy, yet delicious desserts so I made this Easy Key Lime Pie with COOL WHIP Whipped Topping as one of the main ingredients!
Easy Key Lime Pie (no Bake, Assembly Only)
Whisk lime gelatin into boiling water and stir until dissolved. Then, add the key lime or lime juice (fresh squeezed or bottled). Once the gelatin mixture has cooled, add the key lime pie yogurt.
Add one container of COOL WHIP and green food coloring, if desired. The food coloring was the last thing I added because after mixing everything together, I realized that I wanted to make the green more noticeable.
To make a lime curl, I cut a slice of a lime and then cut off the green part of the peel. The peel didn’t want to stay curled up so I twisted it around a pencil and let it sit while pie was setting.
No Bake Key Lime Yogurt Pie
Put slices of pie onto plates, top with a dollop of COOL WHIP from the second container and add the lime curl.
My husband has always been a huge key lime fan, but I had never tried key lime pie until last Christmas at my in-laws. I really enjoyed it and have wanted to try making my own.
This recipe was easy to make and I am so happy with the results. Now, I want to try this same recipe using various flavors of gelatin and yogurt! Just picture trying strawberry, lemon, raspberry or cherry.

Make sure you get the small 0.3 oz box of sugar-free lime jello. Look for the 4-serving box. My grocery store only sells the larger 0.6 oz boxes of jello so I have to divide it in half by weight using a small electric scale.
Lightened Key Lime Pie
For the Key Lime Yogurt, I use the Danon Light and Fit Greek Key Lime flavor, which has 80 calories per container. Any type of Lime-flavored yogurt (Greek or regular) would work for this recipe. Key Lime flavor works the best, but if you can't find that you could just a normal Lime flavor.
To make your pie look prettier, you can use the zest of one lime (regular or key lime) on top of the pie for garnish.
You can also take an extra lime and create some easy lime twists to put on top of the pie. These are completely optional! If you are making this for a party, the lime twists are a nice touch!
Key Lime Pie Jello Shots
Additionally, if you want the pie to have a stronger green color you can add in a few drops of green food coloring. As shown in the photos in this post, I did not add any additional green food coloring.
You want to make sure your cool whip is thawed for this recipe. The best way to thaw cool whip is by putting it in the refrigerator for 4-5 hours, or overnight.
Put ¼ cup of water in a microwave-safe measuring cup and heat for about 60 seconds until boiling. Add the jello powder to the boiling water and whisk until well combined. Ensure the jello powder is fully dissolved and there are no lumps remaining.
Key Lime Yogurt Pie Recipe
To make a lime twist to decorate your pie, cut a very thin slice of lime. Then, cut across the center of the slice. You want to cut almost all of the way across, but leave the peel intact on one side. Simply twist the lime around and you've made a pretty lime twist!
If you follow this recipe exactly, there are 187 calories in each piece of the pie. I cut each pie into a total of 10 pieces, so the serving size is 1/10 of the pie.
