How To Make Elixirs In Zelda: Botw
Stamina is great for exploring, but when it comes to those all-important boss fights, you’re going to need all the health you can get. This guide will show you the fastest way to get the one ingredient you’ll ever need for temporary hearts: the Hearty Durian.
, it’s the king of temporary hearts. A single cooked Hearty Durian will restore three hearts, but more importantly, it’ll give you +4 temporary hearts. Cooking five of these in a meal will naturally give you +20 temporary hearts, which will make most boss fights feel much more relaxed.
In a game where commodities are hard to come by, the Hearty Durians have a reliable and initially bountiful spawn point. You can easily find the home of the durians near Faron Tower, which is located southeast of the Great Plateau.

The road will fork again and you should take the northern route. From there, you’ll see the Floria River and across from that, Faron Tower.
Once you’re on top of Faron Tower, look to the northeast. You’ll see a cliff. You’ll see some Lizalfos dancing around some Hearty Durians (or it might be during a thunderstorm). Glide across and welcome to Hearty Durian land!
Between the batch of Hearty Durians the Lizalfos are partying over, many of the trees will contain Durians. You can easily spot them by selecting the stasis rune. Objects you can interact with, like Hearty Durians, will be highlighted.
