Lime Sorbet Recipe Vitamix
An easy recipe for Vitamix sorbet using fresh lime juice, pineapple, banana, mint, and spinach whipped up in flash in a Vitamix blender. This recipe is simple, refreshing, and delicious. You'd never know that it's made with spinach!
I have had a blast playing around with my Vitamix since I got it last August. I am always looking for new recipes and ways to utilize its great features. This Lime Mint Vitamix Sorbet was a huge hit!
The beautiful green color comes, not from the lime, but from the spinach in this dessert. This is a kid-friendly recipe and a great way to sneak some extra greens into your diet. Also, this is dairy-free, so a great frozen treat for people, like me, who are lactose intolerant.

Blend on high for 45 seconds to 1 minute, using the tamper to blend well. When the sound of the machine changes and 4 mounds appear, the sorbet is ready to serve. Enjoy immediately, garnishing with fresh lime slices, if desired.

I believe that anyone can be an amazing home cook, and there's nothing better than family time around the table! If you have the pleasure of owning a Vitamix, you are already aware of what a life changing machine it is. Is it cheap? No, not even kind of, but is it worth it? In my opinion, it is worth every single penny.I use it daily, and I am continuously amazed by all it can do. If you can’t imagine a blender being that cool, just take a look at the Vitamix website and you’ll see what I am talking about. While this may seem like a sponsored post, I can assure you that it is not. I purchased my own Vitamix just over a few weeks ago and I am singing its’ praises because it has been a game changer in my daily routine for pretty much every meal.
The recipe I am sharing with you today is one that illustrates exactly why the Vitamix is so incredible. This Mango Mint Lime Sorbet showcases this machines ability to pulverize frozen fruit into the smoothest, creamiest sorbet you’ve ever tasted, all without using anything but frozen fruit, a squeeze of lime for flavor and some freshly picked mint. In my past attempts at making sorbet in my Ninja blender, there was absolutely no way that I could blend up rock hard fruit without the help of some full fat coconut milk or other form of liquid, and unfortunately that resulted in extra calories and unwanted fat. With the Vitamix, I have the ability to make sorbetwithout the extras, which gives me a delicious cold treatthat is nothing more than 100% fruit. No added sugar, creamers or anything that packs on unwanted pounds, and it doesn’t hurt to mention that this is probably the best sorbet I’ve ever tasted.

If you don’t have a Vitamix, don’t fret! You can still make this recipe in a high speed blender, just be sure to add in a little coconut water or coconut milk to help smooth it out. Unsweetened, full fat coconut milk is what seems to work best texture-wise when making sorbet in blenders that aren’t as powerful, so just add in 3/4 cup to the recipe.
If you have a Vitamix, simply add in the juice of 1 lime, several leaves of mint (about 4 or 5) and 3 cups of frozen organic mangos with no sugar added…
If your model has the ‘frozen desserts’option, simply turn the dial to ‘frozen desserts’and press start (yes, I am aware it is on the ‘smoothie’ option)..

If your Vitamix does not have the ‘frozen desserts’ option, select Variable 1, then slowly increase speed to Variable 10, then to High, using the tamper to press the ingredients into the blades. In about 45 to 55 seconds the sound of the motor will change and four mounds should form.
